The critical research paper should be in MLA format and 750 to 1000 words in length. It should focus on one or two poems. Your paper should have a clear and focused thesis, topic sentences that support your thesis, and examples from the text. In addition, you must use outside research further strengthen your argument. You must cite at least three outside sources. Please be sure to include a work cited page.
For the poem of choice I would prefer if it could be one of Edgar Allen Poe’s pieces, either the Raven, Annabel Lee, or The Tell-Tale Heart.
